Mike Fronimos is a retired firefighter and fire chief, currently working as a shift Lieutenant, is a father and a Catholic. He has served in emergency services since 1989, and has worked in Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, North Dakota, Virginia, and Ohio. As I embarked on writing and compiling my fourth book, MY VIEW FROM THE DRIVER SEAT, RIDESHARE ADVENTURES WITH MIKE Book #4, and as you continued reading from Books #1, #2, and #3you will notice not only the stories that I am sharing, but the progression of a man on a journey. You can “see” the hurt, the anger and the brokenness in Book #1 … and you can see the start of the healing process, the search for peace and understanding as you read the other books. As you read these stories and experiences, don’t be too quick to judge as this isn’t your journey, it is mine. And it continues even today. It may not be unlike yours or others you know, but until you have walked in my shoes or carried my burdens, do not judge or criticize. Read the stories, enjoy and reflect on the graces that God has shown me by bringing others into my life, in my car to talk, to listen and even to pray.As a dedicated and loving father, a dedicated servant of the communities I have served and a loyal and faithful Catholic, I think I have succeeded in making a difference.
